    • A- Tytransfer is a universal fingerprint widget. Tytransfer can "snap-on" to any Windows or web based application. It is perfect for anyone looking to add a biometric feature to their school lunch line or work management software.
  • Q- What operating systems are supported?
    • A- All TyTechnique products are supported in Windows 7-10 .
  • Q- Does TyTransfer store fingerprint images?
    • A- No, TyTransfer takes the fingerprint and places it into an encrypted format for matching purposes.
  • Q- What formats does TyTrace allow you to save in?
    • A- user selects ‘Save Fingerprint’. This opens the ‘Save As’ dialog where the user can select the type of image format desired (*.jpg, *.png, *.bmp), the folder, and the location.
  • Q- Is this an SDK (Software Development Kit)?
    • A- No, All TyTechniques products require no integration and can run seamlessly in the background.
  • Q- I just installed software on my PC and it is asking for a serial code. How do I get one?
    • A- Please contact support@tytechnique.com for more information on activating your software.  You will need to provide your ID number.


  • Q- What is your Return Policy?
    • A-You may return your unopened device or software within 30 days from the date of purchase with a $25 restocking fee per device. You should expect to receive a refund within four to weeks from the date of return. If you need to return an item, please contact us at sales@tytechnique.com with your order number and details about the product you'd like to return. We will respond quickly within 1 to 2 business days with instructions for how to return items from your order.
